Job summary

Liverpool John Moores University invites applications for an experienced Team Leader to join the Campus Support Team within Campus Services. You will lead on shift, coach and develop staff, and ensure a high standard of service while remaining accountable for the team’s performance.

You will hold a full UK driving licence, show flexibility for shift patterns, and work within a busy, regulated security setting. LJMU offers generous annual leave and pension benefits as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or a similarly regulated, customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team.
• Strong communication, judgement and people skills.
• Flexibility to support shift patterns and respond to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership on shift in Campus Support.
• Lead by example, setting clear expectations and addressing performance issues.
• Support the Supervisor and act as shift lead in their absence.
• Maintain a calm, responsive and high-performing team environment.
