Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a dedicated Security Officer for a busy college campus. You will maintain a highly visible presence, monitor CCTV, patrol buildings and grounds, and support students, staff and visitors to keep everyone safe and secure.

You should hold a valid SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding licence, ideally CCTV, have excellent communication, be proactive, and able to work independently. A clean driving licence is advantageous to enable site coverage.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding licence required.
• CCTV licence preferred (training provided).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent working with initiative and proactive approach.
• Ability to engage professionally with students, staff and visitors.
• Clean driving licence is advantageous for site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible security presence across the campus.
• Monitor CCTV network and respond to incidents.
• Undertake regular patrols of buildings, grounds and residence areas.
• Provide support to students, staff and visitors.
• Collaborate with Student Welfare team to promote safety and wellbeing.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
