Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd in Treforest is seeking a Security Officer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves patrolling the university environment, welcoming staff, students and visitors, and maintaining a safe, secure campus.

You will patrol, control access, monitor CCTV, and liaise with the client to meet security requirements while producing accurate reports. A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and a full UK driving licence are essential, with a 5-year work history

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Full 5-year checkable work history.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment through patrols and monitoring.
• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the site.
• Controlling access, including opening and locking buildings.
• Operating and monitoring CCTV systems.
• Liaising with the client to meet site security requirements.
• Completing accurate reports and recording observations.
• Managing confrontational situations calmly and professionally.
• Supporting the safety and wellbeing of staff and students.
