Job summary

The University of Nottingham is seeking a Maintenance Craftsperson to perform planned and reactive maintenance across University Park, Jubilee Campus or the Medical School. You will work within the Estates and Facilities Department, liaising with customers and other departments to ensure efficient, cost-effective services.

Candidates should have NVQ 2 or equivalent in building services (heating/plumbing) and a solid understanding of heating and ventilation systems, plus a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 or equivalent in building services engineering (heating or plumbing).
• Experience in mechanical services/plumbing maintenance.
• Full, current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive maintenance to University buildings.
• Liaise with customers and other departments to ensure cost-effective work.
• Complete pre and post task documentation and records.
