Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced Cook to join our college dining team at York College. This full-time, onsite role focuses on quality, portion control and high-volume food production in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will be responsible for food preparation, creative plating, proper storage, and adherence to safety policies while delivering excellent guest service to students and staff. The position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-focused kitchen.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience required.
