Job summary

The University of Law is seeking a Campus Hub Manager for our Manchester campus, within the Student Enquiries & Campus Services team. You will manage day-to-day operations, delivering fast, friendly student support in a welcoming environment and coordinating campus events to foster community.

You will lead the Campus Hub Team, ensuring service standards and SLAs are met, and play a key role in enrolment, registration and onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within a customer service driven environment.
  • Experience working with students is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of the student lifecycle including enrolment, registration and induction processes.
  • Ability to deliver an excellent student experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning of student inductions at campus level with academic/non-academic stakeholders and Timetabling.
  • Oversee delivery of a diverse events programme on campus, including inductions, Freshers' Fair, cultural and wellbeing events, and on-site exams.
  • Ensure Campus Hub is adequately resourced during service hours to meet SLAs and KPIs.
  • Oversee in-person student enrolment and registration, liaising with Registry to ensure compliant, welcoming onboarding.
  • Report campus trends and attendance to Head of Campus Hubs and drive event participation.

Job description

At The University of Law, our students are at the heart of everything we do. We’re now looking for a Campus Hub Manager to join our Student Enquiries & Campus Services team in our Manchester campus and play a central role in delivering an outstanding, student-focused campus experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring that students receive fast, accurate and friendly support for a range of queries in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Being student facing, you will be coordinating the delivery of campus-based student events that foster a sense of community among our students. You will provide positive leadership, management, motivation and support to the Campus Hub Team.

This is a permanent position based at our Manchester campus with no opportunity of hybrid/remote working. From time to time, there may be a requirement for occasional weekend working based on business needs

As our Campus Hub Manager, you will:

  • Coordinate the planning of student inductions at campus level, liaising with academic and non-academic stakeholders along with Timetabling to ensure that induction timetables meet the needs of students on campus.

  • Oversee delivery of a diverse events programme on campus to aid a sense of community throughout the student body. This will include inductions associated welcome events, Freshers' Fair, a variety of cultural and wellbeing events as well as oversee the operations of exams that take place on site.

  • Ensure the Campus Hub is adequately resourced during service opening hours to enable service standards and associated SLAs and KPIs being met and maintained throughout the year.

  • Oversee in person student enrolment and registration (including late starters), liaising with Registry services to ensure compliance with procedures and ensuring a positive welcome experience for all students.

  • Report campus level trends and insights to the Head of Campus Hubs and track and drive attendance/participation for all events.

Is this you?:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual with a proven track record in a supervisory or management role within a customer service driven environment. Experience working with students is an advantage but not essential. You will ideally have a strong understanding of the student lifecycle, including enrolment, registration, and induction processes, and be committed to delivering an excellent student experience.

  • Experience of management or team leadership in a customer service focussed environment

  • Knowledge of operational management, including workload planning, resourcing and performance monitoring

  • Experience of organising or coordinating events, ideally aimed at students, such as inductions, fairs or wellbeing activities

  • Strong organisational and planning skills — able to manage multiple priorities, services, and events simultaneously

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency and compliance in service delivery

  • Commitment to delivering a student centred, inclusive, and high-quality experience
