City St George's, University of London is seeking an Assistant Facilities Operations Manager to lead multi-site Soft FM services across Clerkenwell and Moorgate campuses. You will supervise high-performing teams, manage contracts and engage senior stakeholders to deliver safe, welcoming, compliant environments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Facilities Management or Soft FM services in a complex operational environment.
• Proven people management experience including performance management, absence management, coaching and staff development
• Strong contract management experience, including SLA and KPI monitoring
• Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing budgets and delivering services within financial constraints
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing operational demands
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services
• Experience of working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and service users

Responsabilités

• Lead High-Performing Teams to deliver exceptional service and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations, monitor delivery, conduct inspections and audits.
• Be the trusted point of contact for stakeholders across departments and build partnerships.
• Manage contractors and service partners; review KPIs and SLAs to improve quality and value.
• Drive operational excellence and seek opportunities to enhance campus experiences.
• Champion health, safety and regulatory compliance across facilities operations.
• deputise for the Facilities Operations Manager and participate in the Duty Manager rota.
