Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting a Facilities Site Manager for a large educational campus in Ebbsfleet. You will lead on-site facilities teams and oversee subcontractors to ensure services are delivered efficiently and compliant with contractual requirements.

We seek an organised, proactive manager with 3+ years in facilities management and strong leadership, health & safety knowledge, and excellent communication. A hands-on approach and ability to prioritise amid competing demands are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in facilities or site management.
• Experience in public sector, education, or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.
• Proven track record managing contractors via KPIs and SLAs.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Organised with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities staff and subcontractors to deliver services.
• Oversee caretaking, cleaning, catering, and maintenance deliveries.
• Plan and monitor planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Monitor KPIs and service levels; conduct site audits.
• Manage contractors safely and to high standards; ensure timely compliance.
• Support health and safety compliance and risk management on site.
• Produce reports and maintain contract records.
