Job summary

A leading higher education provider in the UK is seeking a Facilities Operations Engineer to maintain and refurbish facilities across campuses. This role includes performing preventative and reactive maintenance, documenting facility conditions, and assisting in refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications, prior experience in building maintenance, and a proactive attitude. Qualifications

• Must possess 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Demonstrable experience or equivalent qualifications in electrical installations.
• Experience with Maintenance and Engineering (M&E) systems required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across the estates portfolio.
• Monitor the condition of buildings and undertake necessary repairs.
• Assist in the planning of refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance

Manual skills

Flexible and proactive approach

Familiarity with COSHH requirements
