University of Leeds is seeking an Electronics Technician to join a small team providing technical support for eight schools within the Faculty of EPS, on campus. You will design, manufacture and program complex electronics solutions for research and teaching projects.

The role requires practical soldering, safety awareness (COSHH), and ability to supervise team members; strong IT skills (Google Apps, Word, Excel) and a proactive approach to ongoing professional development.

Formación

• Experience in electronics support functions with hands-on technical competence.
• Willingness to work towards professional registration (RSciTech/EngTech or equivalent).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and COSHH procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Support projects by designing, manufacturing and programming electronics solutions for research and teaching applications.
• Provide general electronics and electrical technical activities within the Faculty of EPS and supervise team members as required.
