Job summary

ABM UK is seeking an electrically biased trades person to service two campuses (Bloomsbury and Moorgate) with planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. You will work Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, on-site across both sites and ensure high standards of operation.

Carry out fault finding, testing, and preventative maintenance, update CMMS records, and comply with QA and safety procedures while supporting the contract and client needs.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3/NVQ in building services engineering or electrical installation/maintenance (or equivalent).
• Time served apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of building services engineering and M&E systems.
• Ability to work alone and provide customer service.
• Strong health & safety awareness and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on M&E building services.
• Fault finding, testing, repair and preventative maintenance of building services equipment.
• Update completed PPM tasks on site CMMS and ABM systems.
• Maintain engineering standards for reliability and operation of plant and systems.
• Follow QA, site procedures and health & safety rules.
• Respond to site emergencies outside normal hours when required.
