Job summary

University of the Arts London is seeking Community Advocates to foster belonging among students. Working with a fellow advocate, you will plan inclusive programs across indoor and outdoor spaces, with sessions ranging from creative to wellbeing-focused activities and seasonal gardening.

This is a term-time-only, paid role in London. You will help promote activities, manage materials, document sessions, and support cross-site collaboration, balancing responsibilities with your studies.

Qualifications

• Experience in event or activity planning, facilitation, or volunteer coordination.
• Ability to work collaboratively and engage with peers across campus.
• Interest in gardening or maintaining green spaces is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an engaging community programme across indoor/outdoor spaces.
• Host regular meet days and coordinate activities that are inclusive and safe.
• Promote activities with posters/flyers and document sessions for social media.
• Plan, promote, and report on activities with your line manager; manage small budgets.
• Ensure accessibility, safety, and alignment with sustainability principles.
