Job summary

Derby College Group (DCG) invites applications for a Cleaning & Hygiene Operative to join our Estates team. The successful candidate will provide a daily quality cleaning service, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, litter control and tidiness across our campus environment.

Shifts run 6am–12pm, Monday to Friday. You will work as part of a friendly team, use cleaning machinery and supplies, and help ensure a welcoming space for students and staff at Broomfield Hall.

Qualifications

• Experience of completing cleaning duties in a large commercial environment.
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Able to work as part of a team to keep areas clean and tidy.

Responsibilities

• Provide a daily cleaning service to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the campus.
• Operate cleaning machinery and use cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
• Contribute to a welcoming environment for students and staff on site.
