Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in cleaning or facilities services within busy environments.
• Demonstrable understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, equipment, and quality standards.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in planning rotas, conducting audits, and maintaining compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and supervise Cleaners across shifts.
• Plan daily deployment and rota coverage.
• Ensure completion of routine and deep-clean schedules.
• Conduct regular audits of tasks completed.
• Manage stock levels for consumables and materials.

Skills

Supervisory experience in cleaning or facilities services

Understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH

Knowledge of cleaning methods and quality standards

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience in planning rotas

Proficiency with MS Office and IT systems

Practical knowledge of cleaning chemicals
