Job summary

Cheshire College South and West is hiring a part-time Catering and Retail Assistant to support food preparation, stock ordering and customer service across Crewe and other campuses. The role promotes welfare and requires DBS checks.

The successful candidate will have GCSE English/Maths, a Level 2 qualification, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, with experience in hospitality and cash handling. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
• Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject are (or willingness to work towards)
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience in the Hospitality and Catering sector
• Experience of cashing up
• Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Preparation of food for sale to customers
• Ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean and fit for purpose
• Undertaking online stock orders and checking deliveries
• Promote the welfare of children and young people
