Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified mental health professional to lead and develop services for children and young people within the CAMHSNeurodevelopmental Assessment Team covering the South CAMHS in Stockport and Tameside.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake responsibility for the line management of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Be part of the senior leadership team within CAMHS.
  • Ensure team compliance with Trust policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
  • Hold regular team meetings and develop the team.
  • Oversee day-to-day organisation of staff and work priorities.
  • Manage patient flow within the team considering capacity and demand.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to prioritise workload.
  • Plan and allocate work, set targets, standards and priorities.
  • Maintain waiting lists and ensure balanced caseloads.
  • Provide management and clinical supervision to team members.
  • Ensure supervision needs are met for self and team.
  • Contribute to supervision and annual conversations.
  • Support complaints handling and investigations as required.
  • Provide Team Manager cover in other service areas as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous records and ensure data quality.

This is a new and exciting role as a Team Manager in the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team covering the South CAMHS teams - Stockport and Tameside.

Undertake responsibility for the line management of a multi-disciplinary team

To be part of the senior leadership team within CAMHS

Ensure team compliance with relevant Trust policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.

To hold regular team meetings and develop the team.

Overall responsibility of day-to-day organisation of staff and work priorities of the team

Responsible for patient flow within the team considering capacity and demand within the team.

Work with clinical leaders to determine prioritisation of allocation of work

To manage and maintain systems for the planning and allocation of work and for the setting and reviewing of targets, standards and priorities to the team.

Responsible for management of waiting lists if in place

Ensure team members hold balanced and manageable caseloads

Ensure all team members receive management and clinical supervision

Ensure own supervision needs are met

Provide management and clinical supervision as appropriate

Ensure all team members receive My Yearly Conversation

Facilitate the management of complaints, comments and compliments

Take a lead investigating role as required

Provide Team Manager cover in other service areas as required

Ensure the team maintain accurate and contemporaneous records

Ensure data quality
