Qualifications

• Nurse registration (RMN/RSCN/HV) with current UK status.
• First-level qualification in art, play, or drama therapy with related CAMHS experience.
• Experience in multidisciplinary mental health settings.
• Experience of undertaking crisis mental health assessments.
• Evidence of clinical governance and audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow across Lewisham CAMHS, ensuring timely access and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify discharge barriers and implement solutions.
• Advise teams on recording care pathways on EPJS and monitor reporting.
• Monitor caseloads, length of stay, last contacts and service capacity to optimise resources.
• Liaise with external agencies to facilitate seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Provide clinical oversight for practitioners managing complex discharge cases.
• Evaluate and monitor therapeutic outcomes and quality standards with senior colleagues.
• Establish evidence-based practice in assessment and treatment for crisis or intensive intervention.
