Job summary

Wakefield CAMHS is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Band 6 CAMHS Primary Practitioner to join the Primary Intervention Team in Wakefield. The role focuses on triage, early intervention, and guiding young people and families to the right support within the Single Point of Access (SPA).

You will join a collaborative team reviewing the front door into the service and work to provide timely, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Passion for early intervention and helping young people.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the co-ordinated delivery of training & consultation for children and young people.
• Facilitate interfaces between universal services and CAMHS.
• Manage a caseload with safeguarding and risk assessment responsibilities.
• Support the 2+1 intervention model: initial assessment plus two sessions.
