Job Summary

The Rotherham CAMHS Service has undergone a service redesign and now offers an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join our Getting Advice Pathway Team. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team conducting assessments and providing evidence-based interventions, advice, and support to professionals, parents, and young people.

Main duties of the job

We seek a CAMHS Practitioner passionate about delivering high-quality, effective services to children, young people, and their families. You should be child and young person centered, possess excellent clinical skills, have experience in multi-agency working, and demonstrate the ability to work independently. Experience within a children and young people safeguarding framework is essential.

Person Specification
Experience

Essential:

  • Post-qualification experience
  • Managing and prioritizing complex caseloads
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working
  • Advanced level practice with professional autonomy
  • Patient-centered assessment, care planning, and evaluation skills with children, young people, and families
  • Risk assessment and partnership planning

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Planning and delivering presentations and training
Qualifications

Essential:

  • A professional Nursing qualification, Occupational Therapist qualification, or Social Work registration

Desirable:

  • Specialist qualification in CBT, FT, or other therapy
  • Training in Clinical Supervision
