Job summary

Buxton CAMHS, part of Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, is recruiting a Community CAMHS Mental Health Worker. You will manage caseloads of young people with mental health needs, perform assessments, and implement therapeutic interventions alongside a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers supervision and ongoing training opportunities. The post requires a relevant professional qualification with registration and experience in CAMHS, CBT, and systemic family therapy.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification and registration with the appropriate regulator (NMC/HCPC/SWE/BACP).
• Training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
• Training in Systemic Family Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders.
• Carry out routine assessments and develop collaborative care and risk management plans.
• Offer first-level therapeutic interventions and internal referrals to support young people.
• Liaise with a multidisciplinary team and external partners to deliver best possible care.
• Receive regular clinical supervision and opportunities to develop skills through pathways and training.
