Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an Specialist Occupational Therapist (CAMHS-LD) for a Band 6 role. The post is 22.5 hours per week on a fixed-term 6-month basis or possible secondment, working across community settings to support children and young people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

Qualifications

• BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Registration with Health Professions Council (HPC) is required.
• Experience with learning disabilities and autism is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct holistic assessments for children and young people with learning disabilities.
• Work autonomously with an individual caseload from assessment to discharge.
• Provide specialist input within the CAMHS/LD framework and contribute to governance and audit.
