Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a CAMHS Home Treatment Team clinician at Band 6. The role involves evaluating young people aged 13-18 with acute and crisis mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to prevent inpatient admissions where possible.

The successful candidate will be registered in Mental Health Nursing or Social Work with strong communication, risk assessment and crisis management

Qualifications

• Registered professional with experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at band 6 or equivalent.
• Extensive post-qualification experience in CAMHS.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients appropriate for team involvement and develop and implement treatment plans under supervision.
• Regularly review client needs and seek supervision as appropriate.
• Provide information, education and support to families, carers and other professionals.
• Maintain a diary of visits and complete required returns.
• Develop expertise in acute care for serious mental health issues and manage risk.
• Deliver profession-specific interventions for service users.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high standards of care.
