Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Crisis Practitioner for SOLAR in Birmingham to provide nursing and therapeutic interventions to children, young people and families, with a focus on crisis assessment and home treatment.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, manage a defined caseload, coordinate care pathways, and collaborate with partner agencies to reduce avoidable attendances at A&E.

Qualifications

• CAMHS experience required.
• Mental health experience required.
• Crisis and Home treatment experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with a defined caseload in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide assessment, care planning and delivery of evidence-based care.
• Coordinate care pathways and liaise with partner agencies to support children and families.
• Contribute to reducing avoidable presentations to A&E.
