Qualifications

• MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
• Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or within 6 months of gaining CCT.
• Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
• Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric services to children and young people in the Northallerton area as part of the CAMHS team.
• Clinics at North Moor House and Colburn; liaison with Paediatricians at local hospitals.
• Provide advice, consultation and supervision to the team.
• Involvement in complex cases using a co-working model with other agencies.
