Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: minimum second-class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject; other professional experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Training in CBT or mental-health related programmes is desirable.
• Experience working with children, young people in mental health settings and multi-agency working.

Responsibilities

• Assess referrals and determine suitability for treatment within CBT training.
• Formulate, implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions with clients.
• Involve parents/carers and school when appropriate and communicate formulations clearly.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and maintain service data records.
• Keep coherent clinical records and participate in supervision and CPD requirements.
• Support stepped care by coordinating with team for step-up/step-down arrangements.
