Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Walsall CAMHS seeks a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to support psychological care for children and young people. You will work under supervision to assist assessments, formulations and interventions, with involvement in group work and service development.

Applicants should hold a Psychology degree with GBC (2:1 or higher), have relevant experience, and demonstrate excellent communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 2:1 Psychology degree with GBC (BPS) is required.
• Experience as an assistant psychologist or equivalent is essential.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and CAMHS-related legislation is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Support qualified Applied Psychologists in assessments, formulation and delivery of interventions for children and families.
• Assist with individual and group interventions under supervision.
• Collect, record and analyse clinical information and outcome measures.
• Support development of psychoeducational resources for young people, families and professionals.
• Contribute to audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations and data summaries to aid service development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to promote psychologically informed care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records per Trust policies.
