Job summary

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Oldbury, United Kingdom, is seeking a Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to join the Forensic Community Learning Disability Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Must have a 2:1 Psychology degree enabling GBC with the BPS.
• Experience of working as an assistant psychologist or equivalent.
• Experience of MDT collaboration in a forensic setting.
• Experience with adults with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer standardised psychological assessments and collect data.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and report potential harm.
• Develop psychological formulation and intervention plans under supervision.
• Implement psychological interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups under supervision.
• Develop resources to support service delivery.
• Maintain records and provide written reports; contribute to service audit.
