Dewis Centre for Independent Living in Aberdare is seeking a Part-time Personal Assistant to support an independent woman with long-term health conditions. The role focuses on helping with a morning routine, daily tasks, and access to the local community, ensuring safety and encouragement.

This position requires calmness under pressure, flexibility, and empathy. You will assist with mobility and transfers, accompany to appointments and social activities, and complete Community Access duties.

Formación

• Calm under pressure required to manage NES episodes.
• Flexible due to fluctuating FND and Fibromyalgia symptoms.
• Patient and empathetic approach to chronic pain and fatigue.
• Ability to provide physical assistance with mobility and transfers.

Responsabilidades

• Shopping
• Going for a coffee
• Personal Care to assist with daily personal care routines.
• Community Access (6 hours per week): Accompanying me out and about to access the local community, attend appointments.
