Call Centre & Online Customer Service Advisor
At RSA, we believe insurance is about people, not things. We provide our inspiring colleagues with support and opportunities to grow together, shape the future, and succeed as a team. We are undergoing a transformation to improve our service and deliver better products to brokers and customers. As a proud member of the Intact family, we operate in North America, the UK, and Europe.
We aim to become the best Commercial Lines business in the UK, demonstrated by our recent acquisition of NIG and Farmweb, which allows us to scale and leverage our combined strengths for the benefit of our people.
We are currently recruiting a customer service advisor for our Glasgow office. During the initial six months of training, you will work full-time at our Glasgow site. Afterwards, you will have the option to adopt a hybrid working pattern of three days per week in the office.
You will work with insurance brokers or direct customers across the UK, underwriting policies, and supporting education and e-adoption strategies. You will help develop a team culture focused on pace, performance, customer experience, and financial results. You will also address offshore quality issues, resolving or escalating them to maintain standards and handoffs. Training will be provided to equip you with all necessary tools.
You have a genuine desire to assist customers. Listening, identifying needs, and providing solutions with professionalism and empathy are key. Attitude and approach are more important than experience; however, a background in customer service and the ability to think quickly and keep the customer in mind will help you succeed with RSA.
RSA values its people, offering hybrid working for better work/life balance and a range of benefits, including pension contributions of up to 11%. We provide numerous development opportunities within a diverse community of experts. You will be empowered to grow, contribute, and shape the future with us.
