Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate and adjust equipment to meet customer requirements. This role sits within Engineering and Technical Services, providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on devices and systems in life sciences environments.

Qualifications

• Training in instrumentation, electronics, metrology or mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on calibration or maintenance experience in GMP/GLP life sciences.
• Experience around cleanrooms, aseptic spaces, environmental monitoring systems, CTUs and laboratory instrumentation.
• Ability to follow SOPs, calibration procedures, deviation forms, equipment logs and audit-ready records.
• Ability to interpret calibration results, identify trends and flag reliability or compliance issues.
• Clear and concise communication with QA, lab staff, engineering teams and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations and adjustments for calibration devices across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain calibration documentation including metrology database, certificates, equipment history forms, timesheets and software.
• Conduct self-studies to improve calibration theory, methods and equipment.
• Communicate progress of testing, repair and services to customers.
• Accompany senior staff to locations and calibrate equipment on-site.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.
