Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a field- and facility-based calibration technician/engineer to support multiple business lines. You will perform traceable calibration, verification and documentation on customer premises and in calibration facilities, operating with autonomy at technician or engineer level.

Ideal candidates will have experience in ISO/IEC 17025 / UKAS environments, read technical drawings, and use calibration management software.

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of measurement principles and calibration basics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications to support calibrations.
• Experience with calibration management software and traceability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, traceable calibration, testing, verification and evaluation.
• Work under ISO/IEC 17025 and UKAS environments with traceability and certificates.
• Travel to customer sites and perform on-site calibrations and relationship management.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and maintain equipment.
• Support continuous improvement, fault finding and audits.
