Are you a meticulous Calibration Technician seeking a fresh opportunity? Our client, a leading distribution company in County Down, is on the lookout for a dedicated professional to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the complete calibration process, including booking, testing, reviewing results, and invoicing customers.
2. Maintain precise and up-to-date calibration records throughout all stages.
3. Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and recommend effective solutions.
4. Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
5. Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers.
6. Monitor stock levels, place orders for necessary parts, and prepare stock as needed.
7. Coordinate special deliveries with third-party couriers when required.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection and calibration procedures.
9. Work efficiently within set deadlines and budget constraints.
10. Assist in trade counter and warehouse operations as required.
11. Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

Essential Criteria:

1. Excellent communication and telephone skills.
2. Confident and proactive in managing challenging situations.
3. Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.
4. Capable of managing tasks effectively under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.
5. GCSE or equivalent qualification in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Desirable Skills:

1. Interest in electronics.
2. Previous experience in a similar industry.
