Job summary

Trescal is offering a four-year Apprenticeship programme across UK sites to train you to calibrate and optimise a wide range of measuring instruments. You will learn fault finding and repair work, following ISO9001 and ISO17025 through BSI/UKAS audits, with in-house training across several disciplines.

The programme includes NVQ Level 3 & BTEC Diploma Level 3 (Level 7 Scotland) in Engineering and personal development courses, leading to qualifications as Calibration Engineer and potential

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4 or higher or Scotland National 5 grade A-C in English, Maths and Science.
• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software.
• Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to attend college weekly in term time.

Responsibilities
