Job summary

Tesco Cafés are a place to work where teamwork, hospitality and a focus on great customer service are essential. A minimum of 8 guaranteed hours per week is offered, with flexible working hours and opportunities for progression as you become part of our caf team.

You'll help with cooking, serving and keeping areas clean while meeting safety standards. You will be part of a busy, fast-paced environment, delivering a friendly experience to customers and maintaining high standards across the menu

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to our caf's delicious menu.
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Knowing our caf's menu inside and out and serving food exactly as its intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Caf Manager.
• Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
• Clearing and sanitising tables so our caf stays clean.
