Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Cafe Supervisor on a part-time basis (30 hours per week) to oversee operations in a major High Street brand. The role involves supervising frontline teams, ensuring quality service and compliance with hygiene and safety standards across approximately 6,000 venues.

With a focus on customer service and team leadership, you will manage rotas, assist with stock orders, and act as a key holder, contributing to a positive work environment and operational efficiency.

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegating tasks and keeping the team proactive.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
