Job summary

Gather & Gather is recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of CH&CO operations on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

You will oversee daily café activities, ensuring high standards of service and quality while supporting a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a cafe/food-service environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive team player with a can-do attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Create weekly rotas following manager guidance.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and keep the team proactive.
• Ensure compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities May Include

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
