Job summary

CH&CO is seeking a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). You will oversee a team, maintain high quality standards, and contribute to a positive working environment where staff feel supported and valued.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service focus, and the ability to work under pressure while upholding Food Handling & Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude; able to handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cafe Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.
