Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a Cafe Supervisor for Costa on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) to ensure the smooth operation of the venue and uphold brand standards.

You will lead shifts when management is absent, supervise baristas, and deliver excellent customer service while driving upselling. You will also perform daily checks, support stock and ordering, and uphold safety and audit compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality, ideally in a supervisory role.
• Customer focused, organised and confident leading a team.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts in the absence of management, including opening and closing
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and food safety
• Supervise, train and support Baristas / CSAs
• Deliver excellent customer service and drive sales through upselling
• Complete daily checks, paperwork and brand records
• Support stock control, deliveries and ordering
• Ensure full compliance with brand, audit and profit protection standards
