Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Cafe Manager for an ASDA store in Chester. The role involves leading cafe operations, delivering exceptional food and service, and motivating the team to perform at the highest level on a full-time basis (40 hours per week).

You will manage food quality, customer experience, budgets, and health and safety standards while representing the Compass brand and driving performance across the catering operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced cafe or catering environment.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to motivate staff.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of budgeting and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cafe operations and ensure high standards of food quality and service.
• Motivate and manage catering teams to exceed targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Oversee weekly business returns, monitor budgets and implement action plans.
• Communicate regularly with line manager to track KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Train and develop team members, leading by example.
