About the role

Customers visit our café for various reasons. Whether it's a hearty breakfast to start their day or a quick pick-me-up, we're here to provide excellent service. As a member of our Front of House team, your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment.

With your dedication to service and understanding of health and safety standards, you'll help make each day better. Your responsibilities include serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and staying updated with our menu and initiatives. Your commitment ensures our food remains fresh and our café inviting.

Note: You must be 18 or over to apply.

You will be responsible for
  • Serving customers efficiently and with care.
  • Resolving customer complaints and informing the Café Manager.
  • Rotating stock to keep food fresh (FIFO).
  • Following food safety and hygiene regulations and keeping records.
  • Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
  • Adhering to operational policies and procedures.
  • Cleaning and sanitising tables.
  • Maintaining standards and ensuring food availability.
  • Staying informed with business communications and initiatives.
  • Knowing the menu inside out and serving food as intended.
  • Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
You will need
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness.
