Job summary

Tesco Cafs in the United Kingdom is seeking a Front of House team member to deliver friendly, efficient service at the caf. You will serve food and drinks, keep the area clean, and stay informed about the menu and special initiatives.

You'll maintain high standards of health and safety, assist with FIFO stock, and support the Caf Manager with customer queries. A team-oriented, proactive attitude is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Resolving customer complaints and relaying information to the Caf Manager.
• Maintaining food freshness by following FIFO stock rotation.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of and following all operational policies and procedures.
• Clearing and sanitising tables so the caf stays clean.
• Ensuring food products are available and standards are met.
• Staying up-to-date with business communications and initiatives.
• Knowing the caf menu inside out and serving food as intended.
• Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
