Job summary

Tesco Caf in the UK is seeking a Front of House team member to deliver friendly service, maintain cleanliness, and stay up-to-date with a dynamic menu and initiatives. You’ll help ensure fresh, high-quality food and drinks while following safety standards.

The role offers flexible working options and the chance to progress within a large family-style food service environment. Applicants must be 18 or over and ready to contribute to a welcoming customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Resolving customer complaints and relaying information to the Caf Manager.
• Maintaining food freshness by following FIFO stock rotation.
• Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
• Being aware of (and following) all operational policies and procedures.
• Clearing and sanitising tables so our caf stays clean.
• Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
• Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
• Knowing our cafs menu inside out and making sure food is served the way its intended.
• Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.
