Job summary

CURO is looking for a Hub Operations Manager in Bath to run our community café and events. You’ll lead day-to-day operations, ensure high-quality service, manage shifts and assist the Hub General Manager. The role requires hands-on leadership, teamwork and a focus on customer experience.

You’ll drive efficiency, monitor KPIs and support cost control while maintaining a welcoming environment for the community. The position is onsite with occasional travel and offers a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations in a cafe, hospitality, catering or events environment.
• Hands-on kitchen experience with capability to cover during holidays/absences.
• Experience supervising and developing teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting.
• Experience duty-managing in a mixed-use or multi-purpose venue.
• Knowledge of health, safety and food hygiene standards.
• Experience handling people-related matters such as team meetings and performance reviews.
• Understanding of KPIs, labour% and basic financial reporting to support forecasting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cafe and events catering operation, ensuring high standards of quality, experience and service.
• Lead duty management shifts and deputise for the Hub General Manager when required.
• Maintain inventory, stock control and minimize waste while keeping stock levels right.
• Keep the venue clean, well-maintained and welcoming at all times.
• Deliver excellent customer experiences and resolve feedback quickly and professionally.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and partners to support the hub.
• Develop business plans to grow sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
