Job Details

Position: Café Chef – South Beach Café

Type: Full-Time / Seasonal – 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: £13.21 per hour

Additional Info: On-site accommodation available, subject to availability and T&Cs.

Role Overview: As a Café Chef at South Beach Café, you will help deliver a vibrant coastal dining experience, preparing and presenting fresh, flavorful meals in a lively environment. Your role involves cooking to specifications, assisting with prep, maintaining hygiene standards, and working seamlessly with the team to ensure excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cook dishes according to specifications and timing, ensuring consistency.
  2. Assist in food prep and ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  3. Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization at your workstation.
  5. Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a busy kitchen environment (e.g., chef, cook, sous chef, line cook, commis chef, chef de partie).
  • Proficiency with kitchen equipment and processes.
  • Attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
