About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef with hospitality experience to join our lively café kitchens. Your daily responsibilities will include food preparation, storage, and delivering delicious food that keeps our customers happy and coming back. Your role is to make every day a little better for them and us.

You will bring your experience from a busy environment to Tesco, becoming a café menu expert and sharing your knowledge with the team. You will understand the importance of health and safety, limiting food waste, and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding food quality and service speed. At Tesco Cafés, we believe in creating a positive environment for colleagues and providing opportunities for growth. With your experience, you will help build an inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, safe, and valued, developing your leadership skills along the way.

Key responsibilities

• Storage and preparation in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Deliver tasty, timely food to customers while maintaining high standards and serving food to specification.
• Identify and implement improvements to service and operations.

• Understand and deliver according to our service standards.
