Job summary

Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort in West Kilbride invites applications for a friendly Café Assistant to join our brand-new café concept. This part-time role focuses on warm customer service and delivering great beverages and snacks in a welcoming setting.

You’ll work 7:00am–5:00pm shifts, including weekends, with weekly pay, staff meals on duty, and access to RAD Hotel Group discounts. No prior café experience required, just a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous café/hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach.
• Positive, approachable attitude with strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, efficient, and attentive customer service at all times.
• Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks, food and snacks.
• Operate the till, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the café.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies as required.
• Assist with food preparation and display, ensuring products are presented to a high standard.
• Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Handle guest enquiries professionally and create a welcoming experience for every customer.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts between 7:00am and 5:00pm, including weekends.
