Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a CAD Technician to deliver civil/structural CAD drawings for highways and rail projects. You will produce 2D/3D designs, support design solutions, and assist with site surveys while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule targets.

The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to grow within a busy Bridges and Civils team across the UK. Some travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering civil/structural CAD drawings for highways/rail schemes.
• Ability to develop design solutions and produce drawings to programme and budget.
• Proven ability to work within QA procedures and standards.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Your duties will include the production of drawing and modelling packages, to budget, to programme, and in accordance with AtkinsRealis’ quality assurance systems. We work on a diverse range of significant and challenging projects across the UK and Ireland; in the Midlands our team is delivering major projects such as Midlands Rail Hub and East West Rail. The team also supports non-transportation civil engineering and structures projects throughout the UK and internationally such as Rolls Royce Small Modular Reactor programme, as well as delivering a range of local authority projects for councils across the Midlands including on our contracts with Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Coventry, Solihull and Birmingham.
