Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a CAD Technician in Presteigne, Wales to support manufacturing tooling by processing data in Genesis LT and generating drill, rout, AOI, Direct Imaging, and Bare Board files.

You will also create and load process flows for new jobs in the XA ERP system, and provide technical support to customers, with PCB knowledge considered a plus but not essential. A degree is preferred but not required; strong IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level preferred but not essential.
• GCSE (grades >4.4) in STEM subjects or equivalent.
• Good numeracy skills.
• IT literate, specifically email (Office), Word and Excel.
• Experience in printed circuit manufacture would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process data through CAD software Genesis LT and generate tooling for production.
• Create Drill Programs, Rout Programs, and Files for Direct Imaging.
• Create Files for AOI and Bare Board (BBT).
• Create and load Process flows for new jobs in XA ERP.
• Load existing Process flows within XA ERP.
