Job summary

Nicholas Associates in Presteigne, Wales seeks a Data Engineer (CAD) to transform CAD data into tooling for manufacture using Genesis LT and XA ERP.

You will process drill and rout programs, AOI files, and Bare Board data, and contribute to New Product Introductions.

Degree is preferred but not essential; STEM GCSEs required; experience with PCB manufacture is a plus; strong IT and problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree level preferred but not essential.
• GCSE (grades >4.4) in STEM subjects.
• Good numeracy skills.
• IT literate, specifically email (Office), Word and Excel.
• Experience in printed circuit manufacture would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process data through CAD software Genesis LT and generate tooling for production.
• Create drill programs and rout programs for manufacturing.
• Create files for Direct Imaging and AOI.
• Create files for Bare Board (BBT).
• Create process flows for new jobs within the XA ERP software and load existing flows.
