Job description

Are you an experienced CAD Technician with proficiency in Civil 3D? Are you exploring new opportunities and interested in working for a growing civil engineering company outside Belfast? We may have an exciting opportunity for you.

Our client is a civil engineering business specializing in highly regulated markets, including asset protection, technical assurance, and underground construction. They offer hybrid working arrangements based on experience level.

Role Description

As part of the Engineering team, your main responsibilities will include the design, review, and assessment of civil engineering structures. You will review, check, and produce multi-disciplinary models and engineering drawings across various sectors.

Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and INFAWorks is ideal. There will also be design opportunities in areas such as deep foundations, pipejacking, foundations, and highway design.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role, either with a contractor or consultancy.
• Highly proficient in Civil 3D.
• Strong report writing and computer skills.
• Knowledge of data manipulation and analysis techniques in Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver's license.
